This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a vast array of different business sectors across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Swindon offering membership options and packages to achieve their full business potential.

As a membership sales consultant you will be offering a range of services through both inbound and outboard calls, membership presentation meetings, direct mail and networking, offering services including business advice, networking events, training and international trade support in order to maximise client membership value as well as building strong relationships with local businesses ranging from start up to larger organisations.

Title: Membership Sales Consultant

Location: Reading & Wokingham (Home based but living around Reading, Wokingham with frequent travel)

Employment Type: Permanent

Salary/Rate: GBP22k - GBP24k Basic, Realistic OTE GBP40K

The primary focus of this role is to:

  • Proactively promote and sell the benefits of membership
  • Responsible for writing and executing a membership sales plan
  • Ensure that targets are met and standards are achieved
  • Ability to work on own initiative and have positive outlook

Person specifications:

  • B2B field sales experience selling to senior decision makers (managers/directors)
  • Degree qualified, ideally in a business related degree
  • Able to work under own initiative with a proactive, can-do approach
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, with same level of written and spoken English
  • Full UK driving licence
