Exciting opportunities are available working with our client. The External Funding team are in the process of expanding their contract portfolio, maximising opportunities across Yorkshire and Humber to secure funding from the European Structural and Investment Fund.

To support the ongoing successful delivery of the External Funding provision they are currently looking to recruit Careers Coaches to join them. These posts will be offered on a fixed term basis, and are anticipated to be for 18 months’ duration, but this will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. The roles will appeal to candidates who enjoy working in a rapidly changing sector and who enjoy being able to help shape the growth of a company; they are rewarding positions where you can contribute directly to the growth of the local economy by joining the Humber Careers, Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) project.

Providing 1-2-1 information, careers advice, guidance and support throughout the programme, you will assist in the delivery of a consistent and high quality range of supportive interventions.

As the successful candidate you will hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Advice and Guidance. With a proven competence of delivering employment focused support and training and government funded programmes, you will have experience of motivating, coaching and developing learners.

With previous experience of working in a highly focussed, fast paced and customer based environment, you will have excellent time management skills and be able to communicate and motivate others. A flexible approach is required as you may need to work outside business hours when necessary.
