Product Development Physicist
Are you a Physicist looking for an exciting new challenge? An innovative consultancy within the Cambridge technology cluster are looking for Physicists to join them to work alongside their highly skilled engineers and scientists working on cutting edge technologies across a number of sectors.
This is a unique opportunity to work on revolutionary products at the forefront of the medical devices and scientific instrumentation sectors within a highly innovative and forward thinking commercial environment. Physicists will be responsible for the design, development and testing of brand new disruptive technologies, alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry; developing experimental or theoretical models of complex processes which strike the right balance between efficiency and fidelity for the purpose and stage of development which they support.
The successful Physicist will need:
* A 1st or 2:1 degree in Physics (or related subject) from a leading university
* Commercial experience gained working on products within medical devices, scientific instrumentation, defence or sensor sectors
* Very strong understanding of the fundamentals of mechanics and thermodynamics, including analytical, theoretical, experimental and creative capabilities
