This Primary school in Manchester is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant in to work one to one with a child in their Year 4 class. The child has been diagnosed with autism and the role 20 hours per week (9am - 12pm) Monday to Friday. The role has arisen due to a member of staff going on maternity leave.

This is a large one form entry primary school which caters for children from age 4-11 years old. The Senior Leadership team are driven on creating a strong community bond and works tirelessly to ensure that children receive the best learning experience. As a one to one Teaching Assistant, you will ensure that all learning plans are followed and updated with the class Teacher.

Responsibilities:

  • Your role will consist of guiding a child with autism to further their development and understanding of the National Curriculum.
  • Communicating with the class Teacher, SENCO and parents.
