Production Foreman

Inca Creative (www.inca-uk.com), a leading retail creative design and manufacturing business are looking for a Production Foreman to oversee the day to day production requirements of our busy manufacturing facility based in Ferndale, South Wales.

Competitive Salary dependant on experience.

Reporting to, and supported by the Factory Manager.

Main Duties
• Leadership and management of manufacturing personnel
• Deliver the production plan ensuring quality is optimised through effective utilisation of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials and capital
• Implementation of plans and processes to minimise manufacturing costs
• Work effectively as a team member at senior management level

• Facilitation of lean manufacturing techniques and practices

Candidate Requirements

• Experience working within a production / manufacturing environment (Joinery Background/Metal Fabrication would be advantageous)
• Proven leadership skills – strong people manager
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with production Teams

• Ability to understand Technical Drawings

• Excellent IT Skills – Microsoft packages & advanced in Excell
