An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Qualified Assessor/Trainer in Healthcare and Adult Social Care at New College Nottingham.
Your base will be in the Nottingham City Centre - with the majority of your time being based within our Care employers' workplace settings delivering off-the-job training and assessment of on-the-job competence to health and adult care employees.
In this role you will train and assess on the Healthcare support and Adult social care programmes so you will need a broad range of skills. These include Level 2 -5 qualifications in health and social care and management. You should possess relevant industrial experience in the integrated health and adult social care sector and demonstrate an enthusiastic approach to training, learning and assessing always putting the learner first and ensuring their success.
Working on a range of apprenticeship programmes, the successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and awards:
- A1 and TAQA, or equivalent are essential
- V1 or equivalent are essential
- A Teaching Qualification would be desirable
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
- Desirable to hold a level 4 or above in a Care/Management
