Development Test Analyst - Finance - SQL - Unix - Automation
A global top financial organization are looking to hire a Test Analyst to work within development team in a newly created role. In this role the individual will be supporting development team in ensuring the quality of a Real Time system.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that project deliverables meet basic business requirements
- Liaison with Quality Assurance & User Acceptance teams
- Ability to create test cases from requirements documents
- Development of Test Scripts
- Execution of Test Scripts
- Production of Execution Reports
- Ensuring that software and quality standards are enforced
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to make testing processes, & potentially those of other teams, as efficient & valuable as possible
Required Skills:
- Experience of defining test plans and test cases, and performing test execution
- Must be able to work under pressure and prioritise conflicting tasks to complete them in the most effective way
- Use of SQL to write and execute queries
- Unix experience
- Exposure to financial markets - Equities especially, also Fixed Income
- Commercial experience implementing projects within a financial institution
- Experience of software quality processes
- Experience of Test Automation (QTP frameworks, Selenium) would be an advantage
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to make QA processes, & potentially those of other teams, as efficient & valuable as possible
