I am currently recruiting for a Pensions Administrator for a 6-month contract at a global consultancy firm. Based in Chesterfield, the successful candidate will process pensions, ensuring that a professional and efficient administration service is provided in accordance with service contracts and agreed administrative procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process members' benefits based on their entitlements under the rules of the pension scheme and/or clients' leaving procedures
  • Communicate member's entitlements to the member/client both verbally and in writing and to resolve member's queries
  • Maintain systems to ensure accuracy of information and the corresponding correct benefit entitlements
  • To advise and liaise with external organisations/clients on scheme member benefit entitlements
  • Specific additional roles dependent upon the team on which they are working

Skills/Qualifications Required:

  • Previous experience within an administration role
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; any other software experience eg PMS6000 and PeopleSoft is beneficial
  • A working knowledge of Pensions, Inland Revenue regulations and related employer legislation
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
