Junior Office Administrator -£13,500 to £15,000 pa - Mirfield - Mon - Fri, 9am - 5.00pm,

This is an opportunity to join an I.T management consultancy company based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire with a global client base. They specialise in IBM systems and provide support, development, product design, consultancy and recruitment in this area.

They are looking for a junior office administrator to come and join their team based in Mirfield. The office administrator will support the team with all office administration duties, including but not limited to...

As a junior office administrator you will be involved in the following-
- Administration and Billing of work for the I.T consultants
- Dealing with lower level queries via email and telephone
- Taking all incoming calls
- Making some low level telesales calls
- Logging helpdesk tickets
- Taking meeting notes
- Inputting data to excel databases
- Confirmation of diaries for consultants and directors
- Keeping the office neat and tidy
- Making refreshments when asked

Key skills and abilities:
- The junior office administrator MUST HAVE excellent spoken and written communication skills along with a strong telephone voice.
- Ability to build relationships and liaise with people at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise.
- Can work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Flexible attitude with multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently using own initiative and as part of a team.
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Confidence and a professional manner.
- Tact and respect for confidential information.
- Trustworthy and reliable.
- High level of motivation with a drive to learn new skills.
- Smart personal presentation.
- Excellent MS Office skills.

- Educated to GCSE standard including Maths and English (grades A-C).
- Either 2 good A-levels or a few years experience in office administration (with or without qualifications) is essential.
- Courses and qualifications which support an administrative / administration role would be an advantage to your application.
- IT qualifications such as RSA Computer Literacy and Information Technology (CLAIT) Plus or the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) are also useful.
