Membership Services Adviser (circa £17,000)
Are you a motivated individual used to providing great customer service?
AfPP's membership services team provides vital front-line customer service support to our members and stakeholders. You will be a self-starter, quick to learn and able to handle all aspects of member administration, ensuring the effective acquisition, servicing and retention of members in line with organisational values, targets and standards. Previous customer service and database experience would be an advantage.
Hours of work: 30 - 37 hours a week Mon - Fri with some flexibility to attend events and meet the fluctuating demands of the role. Job share opportunities may also be considered for this role.
Knowledge and skills required for the role:
A thorough understanding of high quality customer service techniques
Strong literacy and numeracy skills
Excellent computer literacy with knowledge of ICT/CRM databases
Previous practical experience in a front line customer service role
Time and task management
Awareness of how to match products and services to customer needs
Awareness of effective communication techniques
Awareness of the medical/healthcare industry
Displays an eye for detail
Builds rapport and develops strong internal and external working relationships
Shows good self-awareness and willingness to learn and develop
