Electrician (17th Edition)
Electrician (17th Edition) - Spider Web Recruitment are currently supporting this company specialising in the design and implementation of process control systems for the food and beverage industries in their search for a qualified, approved or technician level Electrician. The company are based in Hadleigh and due to continued growth, they are looking for an Electrician to work primarily on customer sites across the East Anglian region to install, maintain and repair automated control systems.
As the Electrician, you must:
- Be electrically trained, ideally with a formal apprenticeship with a minimum qualification of NVQ 3 (or equivalent) and 17th edition
- Have at least 2 years' experience
- Beneficially, have an electrical engineering ECS card
- Be willing to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions
- Have a full driving licence
- Be able to work away from home on occasion, if required
The main responsibilities of the Electrician include the installation of electrical equipment, conducting direct repairs, installation, and planned and reactive maintenance work. You will be working alongside the company's own electrical engineers and sub-contracted engineers in large installations.
This role offers JIB rated pay rates of £14 - £16 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, though there is huge earning potential. The hours are approximately 40 hours per week Monday - Friday with overtime and occasional weekend work available. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the rate after 8 hours Monday to Friday and the first 5 hours on a Saturday. Double time is paid after the first 5 hours Saturday and Sunday.
