Support Workers

Due to an exciting opportunity arising, Azure Charitable Enterprises are currently looking to recruit a team of support staff to work within a specific service in Prudhoe.

Successful applicants will be part of the new team providing support in all aspects of daily living to a young gentleman living in his own home. An important part of the role is to ensure a positive community presence while accessing activities which he enjoys such as swimming, bowling and cycling.

There are both full time (39 hrs) and part time vacancies (minimum 16 hrs) available; we also welcome applications from those who would like to work on a casual basis.

Contracted hours are worked on a rota basis which gives full consideration to fair allocation of weekend working. The role includes carrying out sleep in duties; these are paid as an additional payment to the salary at the rate of £7.20 per hour.

While experience is preferred it is not essential, as Azure will facilitate candidates new to care in the completion of the Care Certificate. All candidates must be willing to work towards achieving the Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
