The Company:
Our client is well-established and fast-growing international company leader in the media industry

Main duties:
To design and manage conference and communication programmes and oversee the speaker management

The Role:
- To produce and manage conferences, award ceremonies and other international events
- To identify, secure and manage high-level speakers before, during and after the events
- To design and develop conference programmes and agendas
- To research on a variety of economic, business and financial issues
- To write concept notes, speaker briefs, invitations, website content, etc..
- To liaise with Marketing, Communications and Sales to identify target audiences and selling points
- To produce conference collaterals and marketing materials
- To manage the event assistants and overall event coordination

The Candidate:
- Degree educated in a relevant subject
- Experience in the production of small to large-scale, international commercial conferences
- Experience in speaker management
- Excellent research and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills at senior level
- Track-record of establishing relationships with high-level stakeholders
- Interest in and knowledge of Africa and the African markets (ideal)
- Willing to travel and keep abreast of current economic and social developments
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Positive, hands-on attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Fluent in French (ideal)

The Salary:
Up to £35,000 p.a.
