You’ll be joining the number one supplier to the office product reseller industry in the country at an exciting time in their evolution. The company has just expanded their product range to meet the demands of a growing sector and they believe that it is their people who will make the difference and help to create the value, passion and service that make this business such as success. 

As the Group Data Manager, you will take responsibility and ownership of all data across our client’s group. 

Dealing with data for logistical and operational use, you will also oversee data for external use. This encompasses rich content, attributes, multiple images and videos. 

You will be tasked with developing and introducing best practice and providing best in class data for both internal and external customers. 

Leading the Data Teams based in Croydon and Waterbeach, you will provide them with direction and set consistent working practices. The teams operate as part of separate companies within the Group and so a flexible approach is key. 

A key element of your role will involve implementing a new PIM (Product Information Management) system across the Group. As such, previous experience of managing a PIM system within a distribution environment would be highly desirable. 

As part of your role, you will be required to travel to Waterbeach and Croydon on a regular basis. 

To be considered for this role, you must have experience operating as a data manager or project manager within a similar distribution environment. 

Analytical and communicative, as the Group Data Manager, you’ll need a motivational and inspirational leadership style, a commercially astute nature and strong presentation skills. A positive mental attitude is key, as is plenty of self motivation, the ability to perform well under pressure and strong organisational skills.
