FE Lecturer in Animal Studies
£25,023 - £28,143 per annum, pro rata (unqualified lecturer)
£28,982 - £30,738 per annum, pro rata (qualified lecturer)
Fixed-term role to cover Maternity Leave, Part-time, 29.6 hours per week (0.8 FTE)
We are seeking a talented individual with the relevant working knowledge of Animal Care.
You will teach on full-time, part-time and short courses, contributing to the management, assessment and recruitment of Animal Care students and participate in the planning and development of Animal courses and related programmes.
To succeed in this role, you will hold a qualification preferably at degree level, or equivalent, within the Animal Sector or be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. You will have a desire to develop a diversity of learners, up-to-date technical knowledge to allow the sharing of best practice to both students and team members. You will preferably hold, or be working towards, the completion of your teaching qualification, as this will be a requirement upon appointment.
