This post represents an exciting opportunity for a keen individual to join a team of staff in Keele University's School of Medicine which is ranked in the top ten medical schools in the UK (NSS 2016).
You will provide administrative support for a range of activities: an annual programme of Academic Staff Development, Medical Education Research & Scholarship Group (MERG), intercalated degrees and the INSPIRE programme to encourage medical students to take up academic and research careers. You will also undertake a range of quality assurance and related activities. Duties will include organising and administering a programme of events, updating webpages, record keeping and administering a small budget.
You will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English Language and Mathematics or equivalent qualification and/or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role. You will also have ECDL Standard qualification, CLAIT Level 2 or equivalent qualification. You will be pro-active, confident and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Other essential criteria include experience of successful team working, of database usage, and of organising meetings and events.
