Team Leader - Electrical

Applications are invited for a self-motivated, reliable and enthusiastic person to join Estate Management; Estate Facilities Maintenance Section as an experienced Charge Hand Electrician; to ensure that building services are
maintained to a high standard of safety and comply with current regulations.

In addition, the role holder will support the Electrical Supervisor with day to day maintenance duties as well as lead and direct a small team of electricians together with selected specialist contractors in the repair, construction and refurbishment of new or modified services.

The role holder must be able to demonstrate a wide knowledge of a variety of electrical services which includes general power distribution systems, fire alarm systems, energy management control systems, air conditioning systems, specialist laboratory electrical services.

You should have good inter-personal communication skills and a flexible approach to work.

You will be educated to A-Level standard with good grades in English and Mathematics.

You should also have an appropriate qualification in an Electrical related subject.

Previous experience in a similar role is essential, along with a sound working knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations, and a current full driving licence.

The successful candidate will be required to be available on a rota basis for out of hours standby duties.
