It is an exciting time to be part of Oasis Academy Brislington. In February 2015 Brislington Enterprise College became an Oasis Academy, the eighth Academy to join the highly successful group of Oasis Academies in Bristol and the South West.
We are seeking to appoint dedicated, passionate and dynamic professionals to provide support for learning activities and the social, emotional and communication development of children with SLCN & ASD on an individual or group basis.
Oasis Community Learning is an educational trust established in 2004 with the express purpose of transforming learning, lives and communities through the development of Oasis Academies. As a leading Academy sponsor, this post offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a nationally and regionally growing organisation, making a difference to communities on a local level, while individually improving the life chances of young people. The successful candidates will need to understand, share and be committed to the Oasis ethos of inclusion, equality, healthy relationships, hope and perseverance.
These are challenging but highly rewarding opportunities to support the educational outcomes of pupils within one of the largest secondary schools in Bristol. We do not expect you to do this on your own: you will enjoy the support and challenge that being part of a family of Academies can offer. You will also work closely with colleagues from across our South Bristol cluster of schools including Oasis Academy John Williams, which has seen rapid improvements since joining Oasis in 2008 and is now amongst the most improved schools in the country.
For more information about the Academy and to obtain a job description and application pack, please visit the Academy website www.oasisacademybrislington.org or contact Oasis Academy Brislington, Hungerford Road, Brislington, Bristol BS4 5EY on 0117 377 2055 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that CVs will not be accepted.
All applications must be submitted by 9.00am on Friday, 21st October 2016
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We expect all staff to share this commitment and to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks.
