VB.NET./C# Developer - Altrincham

C#/VB.NET Developer required for a full time role based in Altrincham paying a basic salary of GBP36,000 and including a yearly bonus, pension up to 7.5% matched, annual gym membership, 24 days holiday (rising 1 day per year up to 29), season ticket loans, private medical insurance, 4 x life insurance, concert tickets, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme and a wide range of product discounts.

In this position you will be working with a small team of developers focused on transforming the old Legacy systems (written in VB.NET or VB6) into C# Winforms; this is an exciting opportunity to shape the development infrastructure of the company. In addition to the transformation work the company have big plans to bring their currently outsourced web development in house, this is going to offer the opportunity to crossover and work with the development and improvement of the company's website.

It is essential for this role that you have a strong background with both C# and VB.NET (or VB6). Any web technologies such as ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS would also be beneficial but are by no means essential as they will offer cross training to you if you would like to get involved with the website development.
