Bromley College is the major provider of vocational education and training in the Bromley area. As a College already rated as "Good" with outstanding features, we continue to strive to improve and build on existing success. We are focused on delivering an excellent service to our students and that means we are committed to attracting and retaining the very best staff talent.

We have recently merged with Greenwich and Bexley Colleges to become London South East Colleges, making us the leading Further and Higher Education provider in South East London.

We currently have an opportunity for an Apprentice Chef (Level 3) to work in our student led restaurant in the heart of Orpington. The successful candidate will assist the chef in charge in ensuring the highest standards of food and service at all times.

The ideal candidate will hold a level 2 kitchen and larder qualification, will be passionate and creative about food and an exceptional level of attention to detail.

To be successful in this role, you'll need the ability to work to your own initiative, under pressure and be customer orientated.

Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to notify unsuccessful applicants. If you have not been notified of the outcome of your application within three weeks of the closing date, please assume you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
