A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Engineer to join a well established specialist company providing cutting edge 2d and 3d digital imaging solutions to the dental profession. They are seeking an additional I.T. support team member for a unique and varied role. This is an opportunity to work in a busy high tech environment and learn new skills.

Responsibilities:

- Be the first line of support for their customers providing excellent service for their digital radiography and imaging systems primarily through telephone support and remote access software.
- Answer client inquiries regarding computer software and hardware operation to resolve problems.
- Refer major hardware or software problems or a defective product to 2nd line or manufacturer's technicians.
- Ensure all calls/tasks are logged onto company CRM software.
- Develop training materials and procedures and or train users in the proper use of hardware and software.
- Confer with staff, users and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
- Oversee performance and implement improvement to company I.T/Telecoms infrastructure.
- Assist on site with installations when needed and to develop an understanding of the solutions they provide
- Assist at exhibitions and trade shows. This allows you to meet their clients in person and provides a better understanding of the company.
- Participate in developing and maintaining support contracts with existing and new clients.
- Be able to work in all aspects of a busy office environment
- To maintain confidentially and sensitivity at all times.
- This role will include some nights away and out of hours work/travel.

Hardware and software training will be provided in house and by the manufacturer's.

There is also the opportunity to develop this role and increase your salary.

- High level of I.T skills including knowledge of network configuration.
