Our client now has a permanent position for a Care and Support Worker to join their team at their service in Coventry. This Extra care scheme provides 24 hour care and support to customers aged 55 years and over. Every customer has an individual care plan. Our client has a dedicated team of staff who are trained to provide a high standard of care.

You will be working within our client's Older Persons Services, offering a person centered care and support to customers based on their individual risk and needs assessment and care and support plan, both devised with the customer to promote choice, independence and empower the individual to live a fulfilled and active life.

As a Care and Support Worker, you will provide customers with a quality service to maintain an independent lifestyle. You will be responsible for assisting customers with medication and liaising with other professionals to support the customer’s health and wellbeing.

You will also be participating in the scheme’s Activity Planner, providing a range of social activities to customers.

They are looking for a team player, with first class communication who has a real passion for delivering high quality care. They can provide full training to the successful candidate.
