This leading carbon fibre engineering company supplies customers countrywide. They offer composite solutions for both one-off prototype components, as well as larger production runs. Their accuracy, reliability and fast turnaround time allows them to work with a large variety of industries, from high precision Formula One cars and Aerospace to the longer production runs and visual standards of automotive and medical.
The Role:
They are currently looking for composite laminators to join their composite laminating department and assist with the laminating and tooling across a broad range of products. This position is open to trainees as full training will be provided.
Key Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Have experience in a fast paced / high pressure industry
- Good communication and written skills
- Capable of listening to and following instructions
- Capable of reaching set targets within given time
- Capable of listening to and following instructions
Desirable but not essential:
- Motorsport/Automotive experience
- Familiar with pre preg autoclave processes
- Good understanding of engineering drawings
Further Information:
- Standard working hours are 8.00 am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
- Seasonal overtime available with excellent overtime rates
- 23 days' annual leave plus bank holidays
