Who we are:

We are a small Poole\Bournemouth based MSP \ CSP focused around the provision of Cloud based IT solutions to small & mid sized businesses in the UK. Established 6 years ago, we provide a range of IT services with the majority being delivered by our in-house multi-tenant Microsoft based Hyper V Cloud. We also deliver managed Office 365 based solutions as well as traditional IT managed service contracts for customers’ on-premise solutions.

We are looking to recruit an IT Manager \ Technical Service Delivery manager with responsibility for leading a small IT team.

You will be experienced in IT Management, Service Delivery and client\server technical support. You will have a deep understanding and track record of the practical application, implementation, support and management of Microsoft technologies for business. This will include experience in both Cloud (Office 365, Azure) and on-premise server infrastructure solutions. 

IT Manager \ Technical Service Delivery Manager Skills Required:

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with directors and for undertaking 2nd/3rd Line support activities for clients
+ Passionate about technology & delivering exceptional customer support
+ Able to work alone and as leader of a team, able to work with a combination of technical and non-technical staff
+ Able to build relationships with a variety of customers
+ Sound planning, organisational and prioritising skills
+ A logical and tenacious approach to problem solving
+ A deep desire for on-going education, technology awareness & advancement

Technical skill-set required:

+ Minimum 5 years Microsoft Server level experience
+ Knowledge of: Windows operating systems, Server 2008R2 - 2012R2, with some Linux experience preferable
+ MCSE required, CCNA preferable
+ Microsoft System Centre VMM, SCCM, SCOM preferable
+ Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, Hyper V
+ Office 365 deployment and management experience
+ Awareness and understanding of MS Azure IAAS solutions
+ IP network design including routing, VPN, firewalls, VLANs, DNS, DHCP. Good knowledge in one of the popular firewall brands – Draytek, Juniper, Cisco, etc. 

A technical exam covering a range of the highlighted skill set above will be part of the selection process.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within an IT Managed Services, Outsourcing or Cloud Service Provider, ideally in a Service Delivery. Experience of recent Microsoft deployments of products such as, Office 365, Remote Desktop Services, Server 2012 R2 is required.
