Transport Manager required for market leading auction rooms.
Outgoing, enthusiastic, friendly individual with excellent telephone manner required to join our office sales team, responsible for arranging collections with our NHS and other clients across Europe.
Working in our busy commercial salerooms you will be tasked with overseeing the day-to-day planning and routing for the vehicles.
You will be the front line contact with all our clients, reacting quickly to their collection requirements, assisting them with any logistical problems and, in the process, building a rapport.
Liaising with the HGV Drivers on a daily basis, you will make sure that our vehicles are operating safely and legally. Additionally, you will manage all administration activities associated with the role.
Qualifications needed to become the Transport Manager:
- International CPC qualification preferred but not essential.
- A good working knowledge of Driver’s Hours legislation and ‘O’ Licence compliance
Skills / Experience:
- You must have strong planning and communication skills and an excellent telephone manner, as well as a proactive approach and a good eye for detail.
Full training will be provided for our in-house transport packages. Sponsorship through CPC International Qualification if required.
Clean driving licence required – Hilditch is a non-smoking company.
