Hourly Rate : GBP20.58 per hour

Fixed Term Contract initially for 18 months
Based at the Broadwater Campus
Due to successful promotion of Electronic Engineering Work Based Learning Courses and an increased interest from employers in this area, we wish to appoint an Assessor(s) to provide observations and one-one assessments for learners enrolled on electronic engineering work based learning courses.
The role will require you to perform one-one tutorials, workplace observations and provide developmental feedback to students in their workplace, therefore you will need to be flexible and have your own car for work duties (mileage allowance will be paid - business insurance will be required). You will also be involved in inductions, skills analysis and progress reviews.
The role could also involve talking to employers and explaining electronic engineering work based learning courses available while discussing their business needs in this area. It will also be necessary to attend standardisation meetings at College.
You should have proven relevant industry/professional experience and be vocationally competent in your subject area. It is desirable that you hold relevant assessor awards (or are willing to undertaking this qualification).
