City College is currently recruiting for a part time variable hours Technician to support our plumbing curriculum area. Support is required within practical classes primarily with specific tasks) e.g. welding, pipe bending etc), plus support in ensuring that plumbing stores are fully stocked. General knowledge of plumbing is therefore required. Currently support is required across Monday Wednesday and Fridays.
You will work closely with exceptional lecturers who are industry professionals and the Curriculum Programme Manager for this area. You will be line managed by one of our two Technician Team Leaders, who look after Technicians and Technical Supervisors that work across a wide range of curriculum including Science, Sport & Leisure, Health & Care, Hair & Beauty, Hospitality & Catering, the Arts, Engineering, and Construction. You may be involved in exciting projects on campus, county-wide or nationally, and there will be opportunities for the right candidate to develop their skills.
