We are now recruiting for a Injection Moulding Setter to be based in Newton Aycliffe.

THE ROLE: This opportunity will be for a Injection Moulding Setter who will be responsible for providing support to Technicians and Team Members in providing effective and efficient machine setting, tool changing and trouble shooting.

Key Responsibilities for a Injection Moulding Setter:

• You will work as part of a team on a 3 shift rota

• Adhere to safe working practices for factory, plant and machinery

• Support and contribute to scrap reduction and prevention

• You will complete the mandatory safety checks for tools, moulding machines, lifting equipment, robots and ancillary equipment

• You will be involved in all aspects of injection moulding tool changing and machine setting

• You should be familiar with ancillary equipment including Mould Heaters, Hot Runner Controllers, Hydraulic/Pneumatic Valve Gate Control Systems and Pad Painting

• You will carry out general troubleshooting duties

Key experience essential for the role:

• Ideally, you will be trained to and passed, Moulding Technology/Standards of Performance Level 3 or equivalent – However Level 1 is the minimum requirement

• Experience of SMED and Kaizen would be a advantageous

• Experienced with working within a team

• To live within a commutable distance to Newton Aycliffe
