A Software Test Analyst is required to join a rapidly expanding health technology business with very exciting plans for the future. They are passionate about developing solutions that make a real difference to patients' lives and are looking for people who can help them to achieve their ambitious plans!

This company is the UK market leader for anticoagulation clinical decision support software in the NHS primary care sector.

They are based in a modern, spacious office in Cornwall, just minutes from the beach.

As a Test Analyst you will work as part of an agile development team to suitably test all software developed to the agreed standards and specifications.

You will be responsible for the execution of core activities regarding the testing effort during the Software Development Lifecycle. This involves test scripting, test execution, as well as recording actual outcomes and investigating and logging defects. In addition, the production of the testing approach documentation and estimates to conduct testing. You may be required at times to work outside of normal working hours (9am-5pm) for maintenance purposes on the production environments.

You will:
- Have experience of working with software development
- Have their customers and patients at the heart of what you do, demonstrating an empathy for their end users and carrying out tests accordingly
- Be well versed in a variety of testing techniques and test approaches.
- Be experienced in breaking down complex designs into smaller, manageable areas to test.
- Have extensive experience of Test Design; Execution; Defect Management across a number of projects.
- Have experience of logging defects using a test management tool
- Have experience in troubleshooting; working with users and colleagues to identify the issue, communicating the issue as needed and working with various teams to ensure successful resolution
- Have excellent collaboration skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have excellent attention to detail with the ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy while working on multiple tasks
- Have the ability to work as part of a team and individually

You may have:
- Experience of working within an Agile team environment
- A relevant degree level qualification or will be able to demonstrate an equivalent general level of understanding of computing and software development
- Have a good knowledge of test automation and how it can be used to its best effect with the ability to automate tests where appropriate
- Have experience of using SQL databases to run queries
- Experience of software testing using a Microsoft/Client based server
- Experience of using Test Complete
- Experience with Microsoft Test Manager
- Have knowledge or experience working in a ISO compliant industry
- Have knowledge of the medical industry
