Established in 1974, my client is a wholesale and distribution business with a very successful trading history. Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Company Accountant ideally to suit a candidate with previous experience in successfully managing the finances for an owner managed business. This is a 'hand on' role to include varied duties including monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, budget and variances, credit control, sales ledger queries, purchase ledger including invoice posting/nominal coding/supplier statement/account reconciliation, banking, nominal ledger control including accruals/prepayments, fixed assets, depreciation and ad hoc duties. Our client would like the appointed candidate to work closely with the senior management team and help to improve processes, systems and to take on some HR responsibilities.
