This company celebrated their 10 year anniversary in 2014 having enjoyed continual growth as a Financial Management practice. They are now looking for an additional Business Support administration assistant to join their team. You will provide essential support to their team of financial advisers.

You will be based at their head office in Chandlers Ford, Hampshire. The role is Part Time, 3 days (21 hours) per week for which a salary of between £9,000 and £10,800 is offered (£15,000 to £18,000 full time equivalent). The successful candidate will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, 15 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution and free parking.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting the Practice Manager with tasks as required to satisfy compliance responsibilities
- Being an Intelligent Office super user
- Initial and Ongoing fee chasing and reconciliation
- Processing New Business files and updating client records
- Prepare and produce client six monthly valuations and annual review reports and documentation
- Ensuring all client files are compliant and all essential paperwork is present
- Dealing with post, telephone calls and day to day para planner support
- Ad hoc projects and tasks

Key Requirements:

- Basic understanding of the Financial Planning process
- Confident to work alone using your own initiative, meeting deadlines, organising and prioritising your own workload.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, i.e. Word, Excel
- Previous experience using Intelligent Office would be an advantage
- Ability to work as part of the support team, providing input and ideas and ensuring the team as a whole meets is objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication with a good standard of written English
- Ensuring all processes are followed and compliance requirements are met in a timely manner
- Experience within the Financial Services industry, ideally within an IFA environment

Qualifications

- No essential qualifications are required, however progress towards any financial administration qualification would be a distinct advantage.
