Title: Service Administrator

Salary: Based on experience
Hours: 40 per week between 8:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 8:30am - 5:00pm Saturdays on a rota
The company is a multi-franchise motor dealer group based in the North East of England. A family owned company having had its roots in the region for over 100 years, it now operates out of 6 locations in the Tyne Tees area.
We are currently looking for a Service Administrator to join the team at our Stockton branch to cover maternity leave for approximately 12 months.
As the main point of contact between customer's requiring servicing or repairs to their vehicle and our Workshops, this role requires you to provide a prompt advisory and booking service to customers both over the phone and face to face. You will preferably have experience of working within the motor trade or have a strong personal interest in vehicle repairs, as this role requires you to be able to advise customers on minor technical issues associated with their vehicle.
More importantly, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate first class customer care and communication skills as you will be required to liaise extensively with the Workshop in relation to work in progress, ensuring that the customer is kept informed and fully understands what work needs to be carried out and why.
Along with this you will need to be well organised, have good IT skills and preferably have a full UK driving licence.
The hours of work are 40 per week between 8.00am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8.30am-5pm on a rota basis. Salary will be based on experience and the successful candidate will also receive company discounts and life assurance.
