Assistant Steward required at Truro Conservative Club.
Full Time £8.20 per Hour
Overall purpose of the job:
Contribute to the effective running of all aspects of the Club providing a high standard to the Members and their Guests.
Reporting to the Club Steward the main responsibilities are as follows:
Ensure that the licensing regulations are complied with at all times.
To comply with the Law in not serving people who are underage, intoxicated, using offensive language or behaviour. In the absence of the Steward ensure the Club is kept secure and all alarms are activated when the Club is closed, cashing up of all tills, reporting any discrepancies and banking the takings. Carry out and ensure a high standard of customer care and practice.
To thoroughly check all goods inwards reporting any discrepancies, to be competent in all Cellar Procedures handling of all Beer products and general cleanliness.
To ensure that only members and their bonefida guests are allowed in the bar, and correctly signed in. Maintain the Bar Areas in accordance with health & safety Regulations.
