Switchboard Operator / Customer Service Representatives are sought to join one of the largest private-hire taxi firms in the South West at their contact centre offices in Bristol.

TITLE: Switchboard Operator / Customer Service Representative
SALARY: £7.50 per hour for standard shifts, up to £10.00 per hour for certain shifts
SHIFTS: Flexible shifts covering 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00

Working across Bristol, Bath, Swindon and Chippenham, the organisation is rapidly expanding. They provide over 70,000 journeys a week to regular and ad-hoc, personal and business customers. Business customers include Aardman, Bristol City Council and Nationwide.

They have invested heavily in the latest technology to make bookings faster, more efficient and more reliable than ever before.

They are now seeking Switchboard Operator / Customer Service Representatives to work in their call centre. Responsibilities include taking taxi booking requests over the phone and answering customer queries via email.

The Switchboard Operator / Customer Service Representative will be responsible for the following:
- Answering incoming calls and emails
- Handling customer enquiries
- Managing and resolving customer complaints
- Processing bookings according to standard operating procedures
- Updating customer information
- Routing calls to appropriate resources

The ideal Switchboard Operator / Customer Service Representative will possess the following:
- Some experience in a Call Centre / Contact Centre / Switchboard environment
- Excellent communication skills
- GCSE standard of education
- Good data entry and typing skills
- A high level of attention to detail
