£30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience + Pension

The company was established in 1983 as a retail business providing copying, printing and stationery services to the retail and corporate market. The Company has since then diversified further into the paper and consumables markets and has developed into an fully operational eCommerce business.
The Senior Purchasing Planner Role:
The Senior Purchasing Planner will be responsible for definition and on-going management of item master data in the ERP system; and development, management, execution and communication of effective purchasing plans to facilitate successful fulfilment of demand / customer orders in a cost-efficient manner, ensuring all relevant parameters; resources; and stakeholders are appropriately aligned.
This role sits within the Supply Chain department which is responsible for effective management of end-to-end supply pipeline to ensure on-time delivery to customers and efficient control of working capital, with emphasis on 4 key result areas - fulfilment of customer orders; effective supply planning; management of the in-bound supply pipeline; and robust management of inventory.
Senior Purchasing Planner Required Skills:

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Required experience: 3+ years’ experience in demand planning
Required education: BSc Degree
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience
To be successful in this business critical role, you will have experience in a purchasing or logistics function preferably within consumable industry with excellent negotiation skills.
