A larger than life and friendly primary school on the outskirts of Worthing (Brighton side) is looking for an interactive and inspiring Teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a statemented child Monday to Friday mornings only (term time only). The learner requires 1:1/ individualised support whilst in a whole class experience and in some instances independently. The learner is in Year 4 and is on the Autistic spectrum. Teaching assistants that are creative, musical and imaginative would be well suited to this role and learner. The School in question is 3 form entry and currently educates 350+ pupils. The school embrace a creative curriculum and are proud to meet the needs of every child. The boasts brilliant grounds and top of the range technology, all classrooms spaces are free flow and there is TA support in every classroom. The school is recognised and proud of its family ethos and close nit team, support is available to all and the senior leadership operate an open door policy.   • Permanent Teaching Assistant role

  • Any experience level will be considered, ideal candidates will be flexible, resilient and have a positive approach to supporting learners with SEN (direct SEN experience is not essential)
  • Relevant experience/Knowledge of UK SEN settings (desirable)
  • Own Transport- Due to locality of the school
  • Eligibility to work in the UK


  • Supporting KS1- KS5 SEN learners on a 1:1, small group and classroom basis
  • Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
