We have a new exciting opportunity at Ashton Sixth Form College for 2 Estates Assistants to join the team based in Ashton-under-Lyne. The successful candidates will join us on a full time basis working 36 hours per week and will receive a competitive salary of £15,091 - £16,638 per annum. We have 1 full time, permanent position available and 1 full time, fixed term contract available (6 month initially).

About the Estates Assistant role

You will assist with the opening and closing of the College, and to contribute to maintenance, security, porterage and cleaning.

What we’re looking for in our Estates Assistant

- An excellent record of attendance and punctuality.

- Undertake the duties of a first aider (training will be provided if required.)

Confidence in dealing with a wide variety of individuals, in particular 16 to 19 age group.

- Able to cope with light-handling duties – manual handling training will be provided if required.

- Willing to undertake training commensurate with the post.

- An understanding of Equal Opportunities.
