Customer Service Advisor

Location: Cirencester

Salary: £ 14.5k pro-rata

Hours: 37.5 hour per week between 9 – 5

Contract: 6 Months

About Us

White Horse Energy is a domestic biomass energy supplier. We deliver wood pellets, kiln dried firewood and wood briquettes throughout the UK & are the largest supplier of our type in the country.

The role

This is a great opportunity at a fast-paced, innovative company. We are growing quickly and are always looking for motivated and talented individuals to join our team in our new Cirencester office. Based on what we sell we are very seasonal & we want someone who would be able to join our team from the end of summer (Sept-October) through to (February – March) to help with the seasonal volumes.

Key Responsibilities for the Customer service Advisor

  • Answering telephone calls and queries from our customers, providing a high level of service at all times
  • Liaising with 3rd party contactors
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers
  • Managing customer queries and complaints efficiently
  • Problem solving and trouble shooting
  • Data entry and the accurate recording of information
  • Processing claims
  • Assisting with wholesale outbound calls
  • Other duties that may be required when necessary

Skills and Experience for the Customer Service Advisor:

  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Experience in a similar phone based customer service role is desired
  • Taking down sales orders from customers
  • Ability to display time management skills
  • Remaining claim as the first point of complaints
  • A confident communicator with an excellent telephone manner
  • Efficient administration skills and good attention to detail
  • Ability to use own initiative with a can do attitude
  • IT Literate including Excel and Word
  • Flexibility to learn new process’ & systems
  • Maths and English GCSE's or equivalent
  • Self-motivated, confident, professional and a team player
  • Eligible to work in the UK
