Senior Contracts Manager - Slough 45-60k - + Company Car + Pension + Benefits
Due to ongoing growth and development plans, this working at height specialist cleaning and maintenance company is currently seeking a reliable and hard-working individual with a "can do" attitude that is keen to join their Contracts Division, based out of their brand new Slough Depot.

They are looking for a Contracts Manager who will report into the Operations Director (based in Manchester) in the overall management of the Slough Depot.
Responsibilities vary depending on the nature and stage of the project being worked on, but include:
- Responsible for the team performance in assessing, evaluating and responding promptly to client requests ensuring client expectations are managed accordingly from the initial point of contact
- Preparing tenders and quotations to achieve the required gross margin
- Supports Operations Director in the scheduling of both planned and reactive maintenance works, organising the required resources, to achieve optimum results.
- Responsible for effectively monitoring the progress of all works, accurately recording all materials, externally supplied plant and equipment, sub-contractor labour and the in-house equipment / resources deployed, to ensure works achieve or improve on budgeted costs
- Ensures frequent contact is made with all existing customers via site visits and post works meetings
- Management responsibility for client satisfaction and accountable for rectifying any customer complaints
- Increases turnover and profitability by maximising the relationship with existing customers, identifies new business opportunities for the maintenance division, and builds the same into the agreed action plan
- Supports the Operations Director in managing the maintenance teams to ensure maximum productivity is achieved, continually monitoring the output from individual maintenance operatives, ensuring minimal down time and taking action to avoid aborted works / site attendances
- Responsible for monitoring supplier costs, seeking best value at all times for stock items and materials for project specific works
- Build and grow the Slough depot and the Southern Region
Essential requirements:
- Applicants must have experience of working at height and preparing tenders
- Must be flexible, while the depot is based in Slough, the role will cover the South region
- Work off own initiative
