Due to expansion of the school, this fantastic opportunity has arisen for a competent, hardworking classroom practitioner to join my client school. The school has recently undergone major construction work to extend the facilities and is a very large, modern school. Inside there are large well resourced classrooms with brand new ICT equipment. Outside there is good outside play space with all classrooms leading out to the playgrounds.
The school is extremely popular within the local community and has a reputation for high academic achievement. With nearly 1000 children attending the school serves a multicultural diverse borough with over 30 nationalities represented at the school. Children attending the school who have SEN is average and there is a high percentage of EAL learners.
The Head teacher would welcome applications from experienced classroom practitioners who are excellent team players. You will need to be a passionate, proactive Primary teacher who has solid Key Stage 1 curriculum knowledge. The school teach from a creative curriculum so teachers will need a flair for planning and delivering interesting, thought provoking lessons. You will need an organised and disciplined approach to teaching with accurate assessment skills and ability to raise curriculum levels.
