Counter Service Assistant
Tytherington, Macclesfield
30-35 hours per week
Shifts will be from 3pm-11pm and 5pm-10pm on a rota basis including weekends
Wok2go is a successful chain of fresh, healthy oriental takeaways with stores in Macclesfield, Worsley and Warrington and we are now looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Counter Assistant to join the team in our busy Tytherington take-away in Macclesfield.
If you have strong customer service skills and would like a job in the food industry where you can work at the front of our modern and open kitchen, then this could be the ideal opportunity for you???..
As a Counter Assistant, you will:
* Provide friendly and professional customer service from the front counter
* take customer orders over the telephone and face to face
* be responsible for operating the system and till including cash handling and card payments
* coordinate takeaway deliveries for the delivery drivers
* maintain a clean and tidy counter and customer waiting area in the take-away
* assist with packing customers' food orders with due care and attention
* resolve any customer queries in a polite and courteous manner
To be successful, you will be:
* a strong communicator with a polite telephone manner
* well- presented and friendly with excellent customer service skills
* Ideally experienced with working in a takeaway or a similar customer service role, although not essential as full training will be provided
* Good with numbers and quick to learn
* a team player
