This fantastic position working as an Assembly Technician is your opportunity to provide your expertise and support to a burgeoning Motorsport business in Northamptonshire. Using your motor and turbo build knowledge, you will be highly visible in the growing engineering team, and the Engine Builder that fills this position is absolutely key to the future success of this exciting company.

You will have experience of experience of modern performance internal combustion engines and ideally turbos and / or stators. You will complete manual assembly operations to produce mechanical and electrical assemblies in a safe manner, assemble mechanical and electrical components for electric motors, including electrical motor stator coil winding, and will also oversee bench testing of components to meet performance and reliability requirements.

You will be responsible for will be responsible for the completion of operations to produce or maintain mechanical and/or electrical components or assemblies in a safe manner, to a pre-determined quality standard, in line with standard operating and build processes and procedures. You will be required to work to tight deadlines in support of road car development and production programmes.

You will also have to work closely with the procurement team, build and test operations to deliver complex system solutions efficiently and in a timely manner. You will be responsible for ensuring that the components or systems on which you are working function to requirements at the point of delivery, and you will have the ability to work to high levels of quality and cleanliness, have PC literacy including MS office products and ideally have a craft apprenticeship and/or Mechanical NVQ.
