This fantastic long term contract working as an Inspector is your opportunity to provide your expertise and support to a burgeoning Motorsport manufacturer in Northants. Using your knowledge of inspection tools and ability to read engineering drawings, you will be highly visible in the growing engineering team, and the Inspector that fills this position is absolutely key to the future success of this exciting company.
You will be able to verify and accept procured product to ensure it complies with the drawing specification, check and complete all paperwork associated with the delivered article, examine the finish of all products to detect faulty finishing, damage, burrs or deterioration of surfaces etc.
You will also be able to complete concession information and create reports/overview, communicate effectively with purchasing and the wider business as appropriate where necessary, maintain computerized records for the inspection activities and any associated bookings within an ERP system, have a firm understanding of first principle Inspection techniques, demonstrate an understanding of geometrical tolerances and have a firm understanding of work piece position (Primary, secondary & tertiary datums).
It would be beneficial if you have previous experience of programming / operating Pc-Dmis software, data collection and analysis of measurement information, understanding of manufacture of engine components,
