The Roles - Electronic Technical Support Engineer, Medical Systems

This market leading optical group now seeks to recruit two technically motivated and customer focused Electronic Technical Support Engineers, to carry out Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Calibration, System Checks and preparation for loan and disposal on all supported systems.

Key responsibilities will include:

* You will provide Remote Support, including telephone, email and remote connection (e.g. TeamViewer, Lync, Log-me-in).
* Logging customer requests (CRM ticket) and completion of relevant follow up processes within the CRM system

* Carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) in accordance with Work Instructions

* Perform Corrective Maintenance visits (CM) in accordance with Service Level Schedule

* Complete both PPM and CM in a cost effective and efficient manner

* Provide Remote Support to customers and colleagues using the most appropriate tool(s)

* Prepare service loan equipment prior to loan
* Check and restore to "loan ready" items returned from loan
* Prepare instruments for disposal (e.g. ensure no patient data on scrapped systems)
* Maintain the Service Workshop to a "customer ready" level at all times
* Maintain and manage Service Workshop tools, stock and calibrated equipment
* Assist with the maintenance of service kits
* Maintain a good and open working relationship with customers and colleagues to ensure customer expectations are met / exceeded
* Perform role efficiently to ensure company, team and personal key performance indicators (KPI's) are met
* Document work in accordance with current practice, systems and quality standards

You might be a recent Graduate in Engineering or Science, seeking the chance to work for a market-leading technology company offering comprehensive training and on-going career development

You may already be in an electronic / hardware repair based role, either involved with field service engineering, bench repairs, in-house repairs, or remote technical support, and which to further your career with a global leader in technology.
