NIAB is a leading, fast growing UK centre for plant science, crop evaluation and agronomy, with headquarters in Cambridge. An Administrator is required to manage the processes associated with delivering ARTIS ( products and services, which from March 2017 will become the umbrella brand for NIAB's training & Knowledge Transfer services.

The job will include co-ordinating training activities with partners, customers and technical experts within and external to NIAB.

Joining the NIAB membership & training administrative team, you will provide administration support to the wider team and senior managers. To be successful, you will have a good understanding of, and experience with, MS Office programmes as well as a proven ability to use CRM databases and extract useful management information from administrative data. Strong communication skills, the flexibility to accommodate for the needs of the business and a proactive outlook are required.

You will also need strong organisational skills to manage tasks in busy

Previous experience in communication and marketing, or organising events
and training would be an advantage.

A minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A-C (or equivalent), including English and Maths and an A Level (or equivalent) in two or more subjects are essential, in addition to a full driving licence.

The starting salary is likely to be in the range of £21,246 - £23,607 depending on skills, experience and qualifications.
