Salary: Grade I £31,841 - £34,808
Location: Greenock Health Centre
Hours: 37 hours per week

An opportunity exists for the post of SDS Development Officer within the health and social Care partnership.
Based within health and community care service, You will promote a model of Self Directed Support to services users, carers and professional staff to determine personalised solutions.
You will champion Self Directed Support and all facilitate the successful implementation of SDS within Inverclyde.
You will contribute to the development of policies, processes and literature to support colleagues and users to implement Self Directed Support.
You will ensure that all requests for support are dealt with according to current departmental procedures and legal requirements as well as supporting team members in order to ensure that good practice and service standards are met. As Development Officer, you will play a key role in the shaping of services and influencing future service developments.
You should have excellent communication skills You will educated to a degree level and have an up to date knowledge and understanding of legislation and policy in relation to health and social care and Self Directed support in particular. Experience in a social or health care setting is essential.
