A Global Change Manager is required by the Wealth Management division of a global investment bank to join a team of Change, Risk and Control professionals who support the business globally. The team establishes the programme structure, works with Legal and Compliance teams to provide consistent interpretations of the regulation to the business and coordinates delivery. It is important to note that actual delivery ownership lies with the businesses.

The key responsibilities of this business critical role are as follows:

-Work closely with Global Regulatory Affairs, Legal and Compliance teams to understand the impact of new regulation on the business.
-Lead discussions regarding third country/ legal entity impact.
-Design a programme structure and approach, including key roles and responsibilities, governance, workstreams, milestones, etc.
-Identify and manage communication with all key stakeholders, clearly articulating roles and responsibilities to ensure successful implementation.
-Set up and manage effective programme governance, including a steering committee to be chaired by a Wealth Management Exco member and regional/ topical working groups.
-Ensure appropriate representation and engagement of the Wealth Management DCO function with programme governance bodies (OpCos and SteerCos) and prepare the representatives before each meeting.
-Define the agenda and create the content for the programme steering committee, ensuring that decisions, risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions are discussed in a timely manner.
-Implement the programme milestone tracking, RAID logs and status reporting and establish a process for regular updates.
-Track delivery against plan and act as an escalation point for key risk mitigation, issue resolution, dependency management and assumption validation.

You will be an experienced Project Manager / Change Manager with a proven track record of change management within a complex banking environment. Experience of overseeing / coordinating regulatory change projects would be advantageous but is not essential. You must be familiar with banking regulatory requirements and be capable of understanding and interpreting new regulations. You will have a detailed understanding of the full project lifecycle and exceptional stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
