Excellent opportunity for a commercial Finance Manager for a changing organisation based in Essex. The main focus of this role will be to provide professional financial management advice and support including controlling and monitoring expenditure and income within financial performance targets. You will also manage the financial control of capital expenditure including budget setting and monitoring project spend against budget.
Main Duties and Responsibilities include:
* To provide professional support and guidance to department managers and staff in setting, monitoring, managing and financial plans, ensuring compliance
* To support all users of finance systems to achieve business needs.
* To provide financial control of the Capital programme and monitor capital expenditure and produce monthly reports and forecast against budget.
* To manage the annual budget setting process and preparation of forecasts during the year.
* To attend meetings in the absence of the Assistant Director of Finance as appropriate
Looking for an individual who is ideally CCAB Qualified although if you are AAT Qualified with extensive experience this would be a consideration. You will need to have extensive experience of budget management and working with budget holders. Confident communication and people skills are essential for this role along with the ability to influencing and challenge when needed.
