PSR Solutions has been engaged by a construction company that operates as a main contracotrt to recruit a Freelance Quantity Surveyor. The assignment will intially be around 6 months in duration, undertaking the commercial support on a build and refurbishment contract. The successful candidate will be expected to work independantly reporting to a Managing Quantity Surveyor.
Duties Include:
* Procurement of sub-contractors
* Agreement of the valuation of any variations
* Checking of sub-contractors interim and final account applications and preparation of associated payments
* Cost control and preparation of periodic financial reconciliations, reports and forecasts
* Identify value
Your Background
* Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on projects such as commercial, education, retail, leisure, health care, industrial.
* Preferably worked for a main contractor
* Knowledge of JCT form of contract would be beneficial
