Bridgeway Consulting is staffed by highly qualified experienced rail engineers and since 1995, has become an industry leader in what is one of the UK's most safety conscious and strictly regulated industries.

We are looking for a Senior Technician or Technician looking for progression to form part of our Geotechnical Investigations department.

The individual will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of ground and structural investigations projects on site as part of a team established by the nominated Project Manager (PM).
The role is predominantly site based and will involve the collection and collation of all site information to enable a report to be produced.

Main Duties and Activities:
Delivery of SI/GI works on site and in the office to include but not limited to:
Window Sampling.
Rotary Drilling.
Structural Coring.
Trial Pitting.
Dynamic Probing on site.
Appendices, basic reporting and test scheduling in the office.
Assist in the delivery of safety critical duties on rail infrastructure.

Qualifications/Experience Required
Academic - Secondary & Higher education (ONC minimum, preferably HNC) or 5 years industry experience.
PTS would be an advantage but not essential as full training would be provided.
Safety critical competencies: PTS, PO, LXA, LEA, HSM, IWA, PAM, COSS, ES (Training to be undertaken).
C1+E towing licence would be an advantage but not essential as full training would be provided.
Preferably be CSCS (Construction Skills Certificate Scheme), but not essential.
